    Kansas to host Pre-Convention National Angus Tour
    OCT 31, 2025

    ​Kansas will host National Angus Tour on Oct. 31
    Let’s go to Kansas City! The 2025 American Angus Association Convention will be October 31- November 2 in Kansas City. An event for all cattle producers designed to Connect with ranchers and industry leaders from across the United States and take part in sessions, tours and events centered on driving The Business Breed forward, together. 

    The Kansas Angus Association will host the National Angus Tour, an anticipated event held with the annual convention where Angus enthusiasts can view cattle, learn about the stop hosts ranching practices, genetics, network and more.

    Tour participants will board buses early on the morning of October 31 for a journey into the Kansas Flints Hills for the first tour stop at Downey Ranch in Wabaunsee County. The next stop will be a unique adventure, a camel ranch where camels and Angus cattle co-habitat at Shamrock Farms near Manhattan. Fink Beef Genetics will host the final stop, during our time a Finks attendees will enjoy lunch and educational presentations. Also, at Finks members of the Kansas Angus Association will have the opportunity to display Angus cattle.

    Convention registration opened August 1st, those interested in going on the tour must register at www.angus.org/events/angus-convention.

    Ks Angus Association Members invited to display Angus Cattle

    Please read prior to submitting form.  
    • Kansas Angus Association members who are interested in displaying cattle should submit information  by SEPT 30, 2025 
    • Must be a member of Ks Angus Assn. New members welcome.
    •  A limited number pens will be available.
    • Members are limited to 1 pen  to display 1-4 head ( example 2 pairs,  Donors, Cows, Heifers, bulls
    • If all allotted pens are not taken a member may have additional pen spaces.
    • All display cattle must me registered Angus, proof of registration must be provided prior to event.
    • Participants must have pedigree info available to attendees either by signage or handouts.
    • Participants may have Farm/Ranch banners/signage on pen as well as provide handouts to attendees.
    • ​The Kansas Angus Association , Fink Beef Genetics or the American Angus Associations are not responsible for injury to any animal or person.
    • Cattle must be in place at Fink Beef Genetics by 9 am on tour day ( to allow cattle to settle prior to tour bus(es) arrival at 11:15 am. Overnight peening may be available is prior arraignments are made.
    • Participants must keep pens and area clean and inviting from 11 am to 2 pm - on the day of the event
    • Unruly cattle in pens will be asked to leave.
