 ​KAA to Award a Scholarship to a Young Angus Producer
Application deadline is January 2, 2023
The Kansas Angus Association board of directors are excited to announce that the KAA will award 1- $500  scholarship to young college-age Kansas Angus producer .The scholarship winner will be announced during the KAA annual banquet  January 21 2023  in Hutchinson  . The application deadline is January 2, 2023, applicants will be required to submit an online application and essay. The application is posted on www.kansasangus.org.

Eligibility:
1. Applicants must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college or technical school for the spring 2023 semester,
​Proof of enrollment  may be requested.
2. Applicant’s parents , grandparents or family farm/ranch must be member’s of the Kansas Angus Association.
3. Applicant must be currently involved in producing Angus cattle or actively involved in their family's Angus operation
.

An essay describing your Angus involvement, work and future plans. The essay must be submitted with this application do not email separately   Please upload your essay as  PDF file- preferred or word file  Essay cannot exceed 2 pages, double spaced.
