 ​KAA to Award a Scholarship to a Young Angus Producer
Application deadline is January 2, 2021
The Kansas Angus Association board of directors are excited to announce that the KAA will award 1- $500  scholarship to young college-age Kansas Angus producers.The scholarship winner will be announced during the KAA annual banquet  January 30 2020  in Hutchinson  . The application deadline is January 2, 2021, applicants will be required to submit an online application and essay. The application is posted on www.kansasangus.org.

Eligibility: 1. Applicants must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college or technical school for the spring 2020 semester, proof of enrollment required. 2. Applicant’s parents , grandparents or family farm/ranch must be member’s of the Kansas Angus Association. 3. Applicant must be currently involved in producing Angus cattle or actively involved in their family's Angus operation. 4. Previous winners are NOT eligible to apply.

An essay describing my Angus involvement, work and future plans. The essay must be submitted by email to Anne Lampe, KAA Manager kansasangus@wbsnet.org no later that 11:59 pm CST on Jan 2, 2021. Essay cannot exceed 2 pages, double spaced.
